Be kind. a short two word phrase we hear over and over again.
These words were probably introduced to us in kindergarten, or even earlier by care givers. be kind. be kind. be kind. yet, oftentimes we forget to be.
stress. pride. pain. it’s been a long day.
Internal conflicts turn into justifications to ruin someone else’s day, week, or month.
“coveting, pouting, or tearing others down does not elevate your standing. Nor does demeaning someone else improve your self image. So be kind, and be grateful that God is kind. It is a happy way to live.” Elder Jeffrey R Holland
Remember to be kind. As He would. even when it’s hard. ESPECIALLY when it’s hard.
The Savior admonished in Matthew 22:37-39 “Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
This is the first and great commandment.
And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.”
The world becomes a little better when we are quicker to love God and to love others.
So be kind, and love unconditionally, as the Savior does.
