I have this bad habit of looking inward when times get tough.
It’s hard not to. My heart hurts. I’m sad. My focus is directly on the weight I am carrying.
Now, I believe it is healthy to acknowledge what/how we are feeling when we are disheartened. However, how much better would we feel if we were to refocus ourselves on Him rather than the hurt we feel.
After all, Christ is the master healer. The Balm for life’s burns.
May we realign our focus when we feel sad, discouraged, unmotivated, and disheartened.
